Project Overview
Xiaomi Store Pakistan is an authorized reseller for Xiaomi products—smartphones, audio gear, power banks, cameras, and lifestyle accessories. They needed an e-commerce presence that could handle a large, diverse catalog while maintaining the clean, tech-forward aesthetic Xiaomi is known for globally.
I built their Shopify store with extensive theme customization to match Xiaomi's brand guidelines. The store handles everything from flash sales and promotional campaigns to detailed product filtering across multiple categories. A companion mobile app for Mi Store is also currently in development.

Challenges & Solutions
Xiaomi's catalog is massive—dozens of product categories, each with multiple variants. The challenge was building navigation that didn't overwhelm users while still making every product discoverable.
I implemented a layered approach: a comprehensive mega menu for users who know what they want, icon-based category shortcuts on the homepage for casual browsers, and a prominent deals section for bargain hunters. The promotional banner system was built to be easily swappable by the client for different campaigns without touching code.
Results
The store successfully handles major sale events like 11.11 with high traffic loads. The category structure reduced bounce rate by making products easier to find. The mobile app (in progress) will extend this experience to native iOS and Android for customers who prefer app-based shopping.
