Universal Apps — Shopify Apps

Project Overview

Universal Apps is a Shopify app company (by Adex360) offering a suite of tools that help merchants grow — covering push notifications, email automation, product feed management, and collection sorting. They needed a marketing website that clearly communicated four distinct products to a technical and non-technical audience alike.

I built the site with Next.js, focusing on clear product storytelling, fast performance, and a layout that guides visitors from awareness to conversion. The design is clean and confident — letting the product dashboards and social proof do the selling.

Technologies Used

  • Next.js
  • React
  • Tailwind CSS
  • JavaScript

Key Features

  • Multi-product showcase with dedicated sections for PushBot, Mailbot, Universal Product Feed, and Smart Sort Master
  • Animated client logo marquee featuring 600+ brand logos including Bata, Mango, Diesel, Sapphire, and Generation
  • Tabbed testimonial and metrics section with per-product stats (+23% sales recovery, 8.5% email conversion rate, 700+ active merchants)
  • Goal-based product filtering — visitors choose their objective (sell everywhere, recover lost sales, improve conversions) and see the relevant product
  • Video hero section with embedded product demo
  • Docs, Pricing, and Blog pages integrated into a unified navigation structure
  • CTA flow leading to Shopify App Store installation

Challenges & Solutions

The core challenge was presenting four separate products under one brand without making the homepage feel cluttered or unfocused. Each app solves a different problem, serves a different workflow, and appeals to a slightly different type of Shopify merchant.

The solution was a goal-oriented information architecture — rather than listing features upfront, the site asks visitors what they're trying to achieve and surfaces the right product. Individual product sections are stacked vertically with enough breathing room to feel like separate landing pages within one scroll.

Balancing the client logo wall with actual content hierarchy was another consideration. The marquee adds credibility without demanding attention — it runs passively and lets the product copy take center stage.

Results

The site serves as the primary acquisition channel for Universal Apps' Shopify app listings. With 600+ active merchants and recognizable Pakistani and international brands in the client roster, the site needed to project authority from the first scroll — and it does.
